In 2018, the first-ever joint resident/stakeholder Health Leadership and Communications Training was conducted. The initiative was dedicated to empowering local leaders to be health advocates. We look forward to working with graduate leaders and local stakeholder groups to improve communication and engagement around health.
Take a look at the short highlight video and the final report below to see how the training unfolded.
The final report, completed by Environmental Finance Center West (EFCWest), is filled with qualitative and quantitative training outcomes. The report provides in-depth program results, survey input from the graduates, and overall recommendations for future improvement to the training.
Interviews indicate that many graduates are getting involved in their communities in new ways as a direct result of the program!
